To chmod /change the permissions of the file on FTP server

For a given scenario , if you want to change the permissions of a file placed on your FTP server, you would think of a shell access to that location so that you can issue the chmod command.
But there is a way around for this. You can use any FTP client such as GFTP which will allow you to change the permissions on these files.For GFTP, just connect to the server and select the file/directory options for your file/directory and you will get the relevant option to change the permissions
