Playing Multimedia files in GNU/Linux Print E-mail
To play different video files in GNU/Linux, there are various players,however to get them working, you need to have all available plugins to play the files.

One media player that is Video Lan Player (VLC) which is available on various platforms including GNU/Linux.

The GNU/Linux version of the player is capable of playing files very well and is a must have on your system.
